  Poor, poor, poor. I had an appointment first thing this morning, 8 AM. I was not taken back for my initial exam until 8:30. X-rays were taken and I was scheduled to get my teeth cleaned. The dentist never introduced himself. I never saw him change his gloves. The instruments were behind me so I couldn't see if they were in sterilized packages. There were no dust covers on the over head exam lamps. The dental assistant was chewing gum and cracking it the whole time. The cleaning was so rough that my gums hurt and are abraded. The two patients who came in after me were taken before me. The suction wasn't working properly. The charge for an exam, cleaning and x-rays was $199. I have never paid this amount for an initial visit at any dental office. How is this affordable dentistry, as they proclaim it is? I was told I needed two crowns, which I do not believe to be true. Upon paying my bill I wasn't asked if I wanted to schedule a time for the crowns to be done, nor was I given the price for them. Don't go to Universal Dentistry! I was a horrible experience! I will never go back. Very misleading advertising.
